About Us

The Department of Biostatistics, founded in 2003, is currently home to 48 faculty members and 75 staff biostatisticians, bioinformaticians, data scientists, analysts, application developers, and administrators. It is a supportive community that celebrates teamwork across many areas of expertise. The department places a strong emphasis on continuing education and professional development. Its members are expected to be at the forefront of biomedical research.
